About this Performance
Grammy Award-winning Los Angeles Children’s Chorus returns to the Sounds About Town series in a performance featuring nearly 300 choristers from six choral ensembles. Highlights of the program include works spanning more than four centuries from Johann Sebastian Bach, Claudio Monteverdi, Henry Purcell, Pau Casals, Reena Esmail, to Sarah Hopkins, among others, along with world premiere performances of new works written for LACC by composers Ellen Gilson Voth, Derrick Skye, and Pedro Osuna.
