About this Artist
Dr. Zach Neufeld is highly regarded as a composer, keyboard collaborator, organist, conductor, and lecturer. As a pianist and organist, Zach has performed with organizations such as the LA Phil, Pacific Opera Project, UCLA, Cal State LA, the Morgan-Wixson Theater, and Pasadena Opera. Zach is on the music faculty of the Windward School in Los Angeles, where he teaches music theory and assists with the choirs and musical theater productions. He is the organist at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Los Angeles. He is equally at home in a jazz setting as in an opera production or choir classroom, and regularly plays keyboard with jazz combos in the Southern California area. He earned a Ph.D in composition from UCLA and a Bachelor of Music degree in composition from the University of Redlands. His choral setting of the Preces and Responses is published by Paraclete Press.
