About this Performance
The "Queen of Contemporary Gospel" Yolanda Adams joins Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil in a performance that pays homage to the role of the church as a place that helps young artists find their voices, organizes and supports social justice movements, and offers hope through music.
The Power to the People Festival is generously supported in part by Margaret Morgan and Wesley Phoa, GRoW @ Annenberg, the Frank Gehry Fund for Creativity, and by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
