About this Performance

The LA Phil resumes its series of free neighborhood concerts for the first time in five years! Assistant conductor Rodolfo Barráez leads members of the orchestra and dazzling Riverside native, Ray Ushikubo, in an international spin through dance music from Argentine tangos to Romanian folk dances to cumbia through an American lens. Plus, Samuel Barber’s beautifully poignant Adagio for Strings.

Be sure to take your seats at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the concert. Any open seats at this time will be given to those on the wait list. The program will be presented without intermission.

We are pleased to present this event in partnership with California Assembly Speaker Emeritus Anthony Rendon, Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, and the City of South Gate.
