In this program of Brahms contrasts, the epic, many layered four-movement Second Piano Concerto is paired with the delightful and lyrical Second Symphony. Bronfman and Mehta will revel in this music.

Upbeat Live provides historical and cultural context for many concerts, featuring engaging speakers, audio examples, and special guests. These events are free to ticket holders and are held in BP Hall, on the second floor, accessible after your ticket is scanned.

Traffic Alert
On Saturday, December 15, United Teachers Los Angeles will hold a march and rally in downtown Los Angeles from 8AM-2PM that will have a substantial effect on traffic around The Music Center. The march will begin at City Hall and end with a rally in front of Walt Disney Concert Hall and The Broad. There will be rolling street closures during that time. Please allow extra time for traffic and parking before your concert. The following closures may affect traffic:

Hope Street between 1st and 3rd
Grand Avenue between 1st and 2nd
1st Street between Hope and Grand
2nd Street between Hope and Olive
