About this Artist
Jennifer Mika is a dancer and actor based in Los Angeles and NYC. The daughter of a diplomat, Jennifer was born in Hong Kong and moved around the world and throughout the U.S. every 3 years until college. Her international influence largely shapes who she is as an artist today. She trained in ballet before graduating from Southern Methodist University as the first student there with a BFA in Dance and BA in Creative Advertising, and won a national AAF award for copywriting. Upon graduating, Jennifer moved to NYC where she was an apprentice for Parsons Dance, toured as a backup dancer for Luann de Lesseps (The Real Housewives), and was one of the first employees at a tech startup, MIRROR, which later became lululemon Studio. In 2022, Jennifer moved to Los Angeles where she continued to freelance, and consult for lululemon Studio.
In 2023, Jennifer starred in 4 music videos, choreographed a Sony work, and was seen on Jai Wolf’s visual set at Coachella. She’s worked with Adidas, lululemon, Puma, Redbull Dance, STEEZY, Beats by Dre, Amazon, Uniqlo, Tinashe, Joji, Reformation, Real Madrid, and more. She’s worked with a range of choreographers including Monika Felice Smith, Tessandra Chavez, Vive, and Spencer Clark. Jennifer would like to thank her family and her Japanese mom who continues to say, “Go for it!”
