About this Artist

Largely self-taught, Holly Hyun Choe didn’t take a formal music lesson until she was 19 but has quickly risen to the top of a new generation of conductors. She completed her Master’s degree in music at New England Conservatory in 2017, followed by studies at the Zurich University of the Arts, and served as an assistant conductor for Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich under Paavo Järvi. She is principal conductor of the progressive German chamber orchestra Ensemble Reflektor.
