Operatic roles have included Dandini in Rossini’s La Cenerentola for English Touring Opera, Colline in Puccini’s La Boheme for Northern Ireland Opera, Demetrius in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Nevill Holt, Eddy in Turnage’s Greek at the Arcola Theatre, and the Lakai in Ariadne auf Naxos for the Glyndebourne Festival.

He is deeply involved in new music and created roles in the world premieres of Oliver Leith’s Last Days at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, and Bolton’s Litvinenko at Grange Park Opera. He has also developed new works for the Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne.

On the concert platform, engagements have included Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Verdi’s Requiem, Bach’s St John and Matthew Passions, Handel’s Messiah, Brahms’ Requiem and Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs at venues such as Cadogan Hall, Trinity College Cambridge, and the Southbank Centre.
