About this Artist

Cheyanne Williams is a performer, technical director, and designer, based in New York City. Her multi-disciplinary work seeks to expand traditional roles of theater making. Most recently Williams collaborated with Kaneza Schaal as a Technical Director and actor on CARTOGRAPHY, a project that explores the commonalities of migration in disparate communities from high schoolers in Cleveland to domestic workers in Abu Dhabi. Upcoming work include Technical Direction for KLII, a collaboration with Schaal, premiering at the Walker Arts Center in January 2022.
