A massive, free, eight-mile street party connecting Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl, plus a free concert at the Hollywood Bowl!

Join the LA Phil for a FREE celebration with hundreds of musicians, artists, dancers, family activities, and more!
Be part of this history-making event as the LA Phil kicks off its Centennial season with an epic festival showcasing L.A.’s creative spirit, with 1800 musicians, artists, and dancers coming together to perform at the festival’s six hubs and along the eight-mile route itself. And that’s not all – the evening ends with a free concert at the Hollywood Bowl, where Gustavo Dudamel will lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic and welcome very special guests – including Katy Perry, Herbie Hancock, Kali Uchis, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA), and more to the Bowl stage.

Open Streets Festival
Imagine the streets of L.A. without cars. In partnership with CicLAvia and Community Arts Resources (CARS), we’re making it happen. Starting at 9am, you’ll be free to walk, run, skate, scoot, bike, and wander through the car-free streets, where six hubs will play home to performance stages, art installations, food trucks, screen printing, family-friendly activities, and more. Think of it as an eight-mile free space saved just for you!
The hubs include Walt Disney Concert Hall (Grand Ave. between 1st St. and 3rd St.), Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles in MacArthur Park (Park View St. between Wilshire Blvd. and 6th St, inside the park), Koreatown (Liberty Park at Wilshire Blvd. between Serrano Ave. and Oxford Ave.), Melrose (Melrose Ave. at N. Windsor Blvd.), Hollywood (Vine St. between Hollywood Blvd. and Yucca St.), and the Hollywood Bowl (Kagan Patio).

Route Map
The following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the event: Grand Ave. between 1st St. and Wilshire Blvd.; Wilshire Blvd. between Grand Ave. and Western Ave.; Western Ave. between Wilshire Blvd. and Melrose Ave.; Melrose Ave. between Western Blvd. and Vine St.; and Vine St. between Melrose Ave. and Yucca St. (Please note that Highland Avenue will not be closed. Shuttle service will connect the Hollywood Hub and the Hollywood Bowl; bike parking at the Hollywood Hub will be available.)
Most streets will begin re-opening at 4pm, but the party keeps going at the Grand Avenue Hub until 8:30pm.

The following hubs are accessible via Metro Rail:
- The Hollywood Hub is accessible via Hollywood/Vine Station on the Metro Red Line.
- The Koreatown Hub is accessible via Wilshire/Western Station on the Metro Purple Line.
- The MacArthur Park Hub is accessible via Westlake/MacArthur Park Station on the Metro Red or Purple Line.
- The Grand Ave Hub is accessible via the Civic Center/Grand Park Station on the Metro Red or Purple Line.
- The Hollywood Bowl Hub is accessible via the Hollywood/Highland Station on the Metro Red Line. The Hollywood Bowl is located just north on Highland Avenue.
The route is also accessible via the following stations:
- Wilshire/Normandie Station on the Metro Purple Line.
- Wilshire/Vermont Station on the Metro Red and Purple Line.

LA Phil 100 at the Bowl
The party doesn’t end when the street festival closes. A massive free concert featuring Gustavo Dudamel, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and very special guests – including Katy Perry, Herbie Hancock, Kali Uchis, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA), and more – will take over the Hollywood Bowl starting at 7pm.
