GINDI AUDITORIUM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF JUDAISM

Members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic perform the chamber music of Bach, Britten and Brahms on Tuesday, December 17 at 8 p.m. at Gindi Auditorium at the University of Judaism. The concert is the second of the 2002/2003 Chamber Music Society Series.
Johann Sebastian Bach's Chaconne (arr. for 4 cellos) begins the program. English composer Benjamin Britten's Phantasy Quartet for Oboe and Strings, Op. 2, follows. The program closes with Johannes Brahms' Piano Quartet No. 2, in A, Op. 26. The composer of four substantial symphonies, Brahms was also known for his chamber and piano music.
