About this Artist

Diego del Morao is one of the most in-demand guitarists on today’s flamenco scene. Son of the late great Moraito Chico, he takes his family signature sound of traditional funk rhythm Jerez-style flamenco guitar into the 21st century.

He has recorded live albums such as “Confí de fuá”, “No hay quinto malo” and “La rosa blanca”. He has performed with flamenco artists such as Jose Merce, Niña Pastori, Remedios Amaya, Montse Cortes, La Tana, Potito, El Cigala and countless others.

One of his greatest attributes is to seamlessly perform as a soloist with his superb technical ferocity and also sit next to a singer to accompany with sensitivity, elegance and grace…perfection.
